Can Byte Fix Snaggletooth? Real Customer Results

Byte aligners made me more confident! I had a lot of alignment issues and it turns out that my snaggle tooth wasn’t the part of my smile that drained my confidence the most. Aligning the overall look of my teeth made me so much more willing to smile and show off my teeth! Bytes “for-life” guarantee is what drew me to Byte and is the reason that I will recommend Byte above other companies. They may do things a little cheaper, have thinner aligners and be working out the kinks of being a newer business, but they value their customer and stick to their guarantees!

I chose to purchase invisible aligners because although I always had somewhat straight teeth growing up I saw imperfections that no one else did. I hated how crowded they looked and had one front tooth that stuck out slightly more than the rest. I needed a change. I chose to purchase BYTE invisible aligners because I was constantly seeing ads for it on Instagram and had a friend who recently purchased them as well. I would say they met my expectations a considerable amount. Their main concern isn’t the speed of your treatment, but that it’s completed properly.

For instance, I was given 10 trays (both top and bottom) to start but required 13 for my top. I was only given the remaining 3 after I had emailed byte support pictures of my 10th trays in. Upon observing them, they noticed bubbles in certain areas and told me I should go back to using my 9th trays because the 10th tray was not fitting as tightly as it should. At that point in time I was upset with their recommendation because I wanted to finish treatment and they simply would not send the last trays without proof that I was following the proper steps to gaining my perfect smile. Now having completed all of my trays, and having had my perfect smile for months I am glad they made me wait.

My advice for anyone that wants to do this is to be patient and don’t give up, this company is excellent at answering emails and any questions you have. You can also contact them by phone for further explanation. Overall I had a very positive experience with this company and have recommended them to several others who are now participating in byte treatment.

Honestly I decided to start an aligner treatment to improve my self confidence and stop being so insecure about smiling and laughing. I did research on numerous different companies before choosing one I thought was right for me which ended up being Byte. I chose Byte because of their customer service reviews, reputation on the BBB, and their price. When I did the impressions kit I wasn’t sure they could even help me. I thought the over crowding I had was going to be something I needed traditional braces for but I figured I would give it a shot.

To my surprise, Byte said they could help! They showed me my treatment plan and sent out my aligners and I was beyond excited. During the process, customer service has been great. Anytime something wasn’t quite fitting or feeling right I reached out and they worked to fix it right away. After completing my initial sets of aligners there were still some things I wanted to adjust about my smile and they have been so wonderful at helping me to achieve those goals. My treatment has lasted a little longer than normal but that’s because of the adjustments and I appreciate all they have been doing. Overall I would 100% recommend this company and getting clear aligners!

I love Byte. I struggled for years with being self conscious about my smile. Byte is affordable, has excellent customer service, and listened to all of my requests. My teeth were transformed in just four months and at the end of my treatment, I had a few minor issues I still wanted to address. Byte had me take new molds and designed another round of treatment for me. The best part? That was all covered under the smile guarantee and I didn’t pay anything extra! I chose to do at-home aligners because the problems I wanted fixed weren’t major and being in college had made my wallet pretty thin. So, after doing some serious research I chose Byte. I decided to use this company for 2 reasons. Their pricing was one of the best on the market and their customer reviews were outstanding. Now, the reason I gave them 3 stars out of 5 is because at the end of my treatment plan I was nowhere near the point they had predicted.

After contacting them and alerting my team of my concerns they helped me to setup another round of aligners to hopefully create our desired results. So, my original 15 weeks turned into another 15 weeks after 3 months of waiting for my second set to arrive. And if they had worked this wouldn’t have been a big deal, but after all that the aligners caused one of my teeth to become more crooked than it was before.. I wouldn’t not recommend them because they do seem to have an amazing team and customer support, but it was kind of a waste for me personally because now I’m going to have to get traditional braces anyway.

I purchased the aligners because I’ve wanted to correct my teeth for over 10 years. Byte seemed easy and had a good payment plan. So far my expectations have been met. I wanted to correct my overall smile with a focus on 2 snaggleteeth and some crowding.

The impression kit was very simple for me, I followed directions to the tee and had no issues. I personally think Byte is great for minor teeth straightening issues. E.I crowding or gaps. I think a person should consider how severe their case is before investing in Byte. Mine was low/medium so BYTE has been great for me! Also being committed and consistent is VERY important! I have not missed a single day without brushing/flossing 3+ times a day and keeping the aligners in the recommended time.

Love Byte aligners, I went from not wanting to show my smile to loving my smile. Before pictures where tough to find but I wanted to show what a change these aligners have made. There can be some wait time when doing the aligners if you have a long adjustment period – I had 26 weeks that was broken down into two sets. I had to wait for my second set to come in but it was worth the wait! I really Love that I was able to do everything from home and they have their own financing at great rates! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for at home aligners!

Being in my 30’s, I never ‘learned’ I had to wear my retainers for the rest of my life to keep my straight teeth after braces. Needless to say, I had the awesome snaggletooth on my bottom teeth.

Overall I’ve been super happy how my teeth have improved. The process is MUCH slower than advertised, so patience is key. I also wear my bottom retainers during the day as I’ve gotten much better results. I’ve had to reach out numerous times to have them adjust my retainers as my teeth weren’t on track. Downside to that is, it literally takes 5 weeks from the point of contact to getting new retainers. You are also 100% on your own. They do not check up on your progress, so you need to make sure that you are keeping an eye out on teeth tracking, etc. If you’ve had braces before, it’s an easy road to maneuver!

Customer service is good, just slow.

I’m happy with the results and am looking forward to hopefully being done with everything soon!

The thought of having to go to repeated office visits for aligner treatment is what had kept me from fixing my teeth. Being able to have aligner treatment from the comfort of my home was very appealing to me. The burden to monitor your progress falls on the patient when you do an online aligner system but the tradeoff was worth it for me. Whenever I had concerns about my progress I found it easiest and quickest to schedule a virtual appointment on Byte’s website. I ended up having to stay in trays longer than the initially recommended 7 days so my overall treatment took longer than initially predicted but I am very happy with the results.

Chose Byte to fix my overcrowding because of the HyperByte. I believed it would speed up treatment as advertised, allowing me to switch aligners every week instead of every two. I could tell immediately that wasn’t going to work and started wearing them 10 days. Still, by week 6 of 18, I realized I wasn’t tracking properly. It took six weeks to go through emailing, sending pictures, getting a new kit, sending it back, and waiting for new aligners to be created. After that, I bought “chewies” (often used by other clear aligner companies, but not Byte, at least at the time), wore the aligners longer, and finally started making progress. Unfortunately, part way through the journey, I encountered sets of aligners with air bubbles in them, bubbles big enough to be felt on my teeth. So, enter another delay of emailing and production and waiting for new aligners. This was not rushed, despite being 100% Byte’s error. When I finally finished, already months behind the date originally told to me, my teeth still weren’t straight (although the aligners fit fine), so I entered refinements. Which meant emailing. And pictures, and reviews, and more production before getting more aligners. When that period was over, there was still a bottom tooth not fully inline, but very close. As I was at 64 weeks of a process that was sold to me as 18 weeks, I was ready to be done. I asked for my retainers. This, unfortunately, was not the end of my journey with Byte. A little more than a month of wear, my retainer cracked straight over the front tooth–one of the teeth that experienced the most movement, and NOT even on the same row as the tooth that wasn’t fully inline. Frustrated with email response times, I reached out on social media, as others had sworn it was faster. The response team on social media still took time to respond, and then essentially emailed the correct people for me. And I was stuck waiting. The response was… not good. They told me I shouldn’t be wearing my retainers so much (counter to all traditional advice from practically every orthodontist) and that since I’d had their six-month retainer for “so long” I’d have to buy a full new set. I should also mention that I asked for research showing that only two weeks of retainer wear would be sufficient, as they claim, and that question was ignored.

But, my teeth are 98% straight, and a thousand times better than what they were. So I highly recommend clear aligners, just not necessarily with Byte.

I had gone through the invisalign process as a teen and had a really negative experience (the cement bumps and tooth shaving were havoc on my enamel). Flash forward to adulthood and I still wanted straight teeth but it was a pandemic and I didn’t feel comfortable with someone’s hands in my mouth. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and Byte seemed to be the best balance of straight teeth and affordable treatment, plus they were waiving fees on impression kits, so it seemed pretty low risk. The kit delivery was delayed and there were a few issues of packages saying they had been delivered when they hadn’t. The customer service team was pleasant and helpful, but a little slow to respond.

Fortunately I didn’t end up needing much assistance or that would have become quite frustrating for me. The impression kit was well packaged and easy to use, the provided impression tray felt too narrow for my mouth, but it didn’t impact my overall treatment. If you have a wider palate, they do offer larger tray sizes upon request, but they’ll make you try the standard one first. After repackaging and returning the impression kit, you’ll hear back from a smile advisor who will send a 3d model of how your teeth will progress through treatment and how long treatment will take.

It is worth noting that my treatment plan did not perfectly straighten every tooth–if this is your goal, I’d say it’s worth visiting an orthodontist in person–but it did adjust all major and cosmetic issues. The 3d model was also a nice tool to visualize how long it would take to start looking like I wanted and to see what quadrant of my mouth would hurt most each week so I could plan meals (iykyk).

The actual treatment process was pretty straightforward. The aligners arrived in numbered packages and, wearing them day and night, I changed sets weekly (they also provide an “only at night” option, but I opted for more wear and faster treatment. The night option would be great if you talked a lot for work and didn’t want to deal with the aligner lisp or excess spit production that happens when they’re in your mouth).

Byte also provides a whitening foam to use in your aligners, it’s minty and didn’t cause any sensitivity, but it didn’t really make any noticeable difference to my teeth. My treatment lasted 3 months and after that I’ve been wearing the provided retainer to avoid any backsliding. I started out wearing them like normal aligners, all the time except when eating or drinking, but have since transitioned to only wearing them at night which hasn’t seemed to be an issue. All around, I’m happy with my results and would definitely recommend byte to someone else with similar issues.

Though I am not finished with treatment, I can definitely see progress in my teeth straightening out. I had one snagged tooth on top that is fixed, the lower teeth are crowded and taking more time to move. That being said, I think the lower teeth look better than when I started. My complaint about byte is that they should tell you upfront you really need to wear aligners for around 2 weeks, not one. That gives you an unrealistic timeline for treatment. They also told me to move backwards in my treatment because one tooth wasn’t fitting right in the aligners when I really just needed refinements or a second set. This has significantly delayed progress. However, these are cheaper and better looking than braces so I am satisfied so far and optimistic that I’ll have a straighter smile when all is said and done.

My teeth were very crowded and some were pushed far forward and far backward. I didn’t want traditional braces at my age and thought the aligners would be less noticeable. I chose Byte because they were cheaper but also provided a guarantee backing their product. My treatment was predicted to be about 6 months but it will end up being about two years, which is frustrating. Customer service has been painful to deal with, however my teeth are better aligned and I am overall happy with my decision. Customer service is best when you email and then call. They have the ability to find your email while on the phone if you need them to view photos.
