Their customer service is on point, and the whole treatment is very reasonably priced compared to the other brands on the market.
In less than 3 months of treatment, my gap almost fully closed. And over the next several weeks, my few wayward teeth will continue to straighten per the plan from the #Byte doctors and experts.
I’m going into the 10th month of the program and coming down the home stretch to completing my Byte journey. I did the nighttime aligners which require me to wear the aligners 10+ hours per day (even tho over time I wore them most of the day also); the daytime aligners require you to wear them 22+ hours a day. The company does a great job with sales and customer service. Their medical director @drjonmarashi is awesome!! The two things that made me go with Byte over the others (outside of their customer service) was pricing and the HyperByte-the device that sonically helps to cut your program time while helping to alleviate the pain/discomfort that comes with shifting your teeth. Hopefully, this helps those thinking about getting aligners.
If you’re considering a clear aligner system, give Byte a closer look.
14Courtney P.Los Angeles, CA7 months agoAge: 40 - 49I had braces 20 years ago and was still happy with my teeth. The problem was I was chipping my top teeth. This was happening because as my teeth wore down I had 1mm or less of bonding added to the top teeth and this slight increase caused my bite to be slightly off with the movement of my bottom teeth. The ONLY reason I wanted a service like this was to correct the bite so they wouldn’t chip. My dentist offered 8 weeks with Invisaglin and I opted for Byte who recommended 10 weeks.
Byte was about half the price and I liked it was a CA company and they had a special tool. First off I found communicating with Byte annoying. If you send an email they send an email or a text or call. Seems whatever you do they do the opposite or the email went to the wrong person. I would get conflicting info regarding the same question depending on who and when they answered. Lots of cross talk. I found this very annoying. I asked for email only but then it was still hit n miss if the correct person replied. Making the aligner molds was semi not easy due to a gag reflex (same happens in office) but I don’t know anyone who likes doing them.
Anyhow, I received my aligners in a nice box. Let’s call them my first set. Compared to Invisalign they were incomplete and didn’t cover the molars. They also seems to be not as strong – I could compare with my friend who was undergoing major dental work with Invisalign. Mine was supposed to be minor hence using Byte. It had a bubble at the bottom of the bottom aligner which irritated my lip but I figure you get what you pay for. I was wearing them 7 days, 247 and only taking them out to eat or drink a hot drink. I used the vibrating tool every night as directed. Once I accidentally wore them a week longer as I forgot to change them. Oops! At week 8 I contacted Byte to make sure the aligners I received wouldn’t have the same bubble in them. They asked for details and pictures etc and then decided I needed a new set of aligners… 8/9 weeks into my 10 week treatment. More molds were sent to me, I returned them and then I waited for the new retainers… I get these things happen, my teeth seemed fine but by the time all this had happened I had completed my original 10 week plan by a week or two. Now I had seven more weeks….
Same thing again. I again contacted them regarding retainers when the treatment was completed and they decided I needed another 7 weeks. I found this so frustrating. And obviously there is an expected delay in you getting the box to make the molds and then them sending back new aligners. You are still wearing the aligners and waiting. My teeth look too perfect, something I didn’t care about and there’s no way they can possibly move to another position.
My dentist was also confused seeing my teeth had moved into the position she would want them. Byte’s position is if you don’t finish treatment we can’t give you a lifetime guarantee…. I am doing this last set of 7 weeks and wearing them for 10-14 days as now directed, using the tool for 20-30 minutes. I am so done with these things I started wearing in APRIL! I am on week (step) 3 of 7 of my third set. I can’t repair the chips until I’m done. I’m actually glad we have to wear masks LOL!
5Kelly Lynn R.Las Vegas, NV1 year agoAge: 40 - 49I have tooth crowding and don’t like my smile at all, I chose Byte because I had googled companies with the highest ratings and it was pretty much smile direct club and Byte. I tried to contact smile direct with some questions but they didn’t answer the specific questions I was asking it was just generic. I felt like they didn’t care to take time to address my concerns.
However Byte did they answered all my questions and in a timely manor, customer support is very helpful every time I’ve had a question. The impression kit I got at a very low cost it was toward the new year so I believe it was only 20$! Everything was done through the mail the impression kit was very easy to do. They also sent me the snow whitening kit which was really a plus for me. I’m currently still doing my treatment.
4Anthony S.Tulsa, OK5 months agoAge: 40 - 49My Byte experience has made me so much more comfortable with my smile than I have ever been! I feel so confident, I never knew such a small change could make such a big impact. All I was really looking for was my top front two teeth to be straight, everything else getting straightened was a bonus. I watched online reviews and I was nervous that the aligners would irritate/cut my gums. I had absolutely no problems with that. It was a little nerve wracking at first trying to be confident enough to take the aligners out but I figured it out pretty easily. The first few aligners gave me some discomfort, but nothing that swayed me from wanting to keep them in and keep my teeth aligning!
0Arianna G.Ionia2 months agoAge: 40 - 49I highly recommend. Super easy, fast and works way better than traditional braces. I had the traditional metal as a kid.
0Arianna I.Ionia, MI6 months agoAge: 40 - 49The treatment was extremely easy, all at home so no office visits, fast and worked way better than traditional metal braces. No pain as well!
0Ashley L.Texas6 months agoAge: 40 - 49I’ve always been self conscious about my bottom teeth alignment mostly but needed slight straightening on my upper teeth. My upper teeth only took 5 sets and my bottom a total of 17 sets. Im currently on week 15. Im extremely happy with the treatment and results thus far. I have had so many compliments on my teeth since treatment started. The free teeth whitening is a plus as well and so easy to use. I was also able to get reimbursement from my dental insurance as well. The process getting started was easy as well. I definitely recommend aligners and Byte as a company.
0Joshua L.Abingdon, MD4 months agoAge: 40 - 49I chose Byte due to the ability to do everything through mail order. As of now, no issues with crowding have not been completely corrected. The aligners were not fitting correctly after the 10th week. I had a video consultation in order to determine next steps. Refinement aligners have been ordered to continue treatment.
According to my dentist, he feels that other measures will need to be taken in order for this to be successful. For example, slenderizing of the teeth in order to create space for movement.0Julie N.Madison, WI6 months agoAge: 40 - 49The first set (upper and lower) fit perfectly, so I guess I followed the directions correctly for the 2 sets of teeth impressions. Putting them in was a breeze and they fit snug on my teeth. I do have a slight lisp when I talk with them in and they are noticeable when I bite down, but thinking that might get better as I adjust to them.
My personal interactions and conversations with the company have been very good. I do realize they are geared towards selling a product, but my representative was very knowledgeable and straight forward when I asked about success rates, complaints, and complications. At no point have I been informed that this works for everyone or assured that it would even work 100% as planned for me.
Each new aligner set is snug when first put in, but by the end of the week has adjusted my teeth enough that they are easy to put in and take out.
Super impressed with how my teeth are aligning and no complications at all. I know this option may not be for everyone, but I am now at the point that I have seen great results and would urge you to try if you are at all curious.
The clear aligners are the best invention I have ever used and I’m one that had actual metal braces on my teeth in the past. The only issue I have run into is my insurance company has continually asked for additional information (3 separate times), so I am still waiting for the reimbursement to be approved and received. Even if for some odd reason the insurance didn’t come through, I would have chosen to do it all over again and because of the pricing I really can’t complain.
0Kamran B.Florida6 months agoAge: 40 - 49Omg this whole process has been fantastic. My impression kit arrived quickly, I sent it back and within 2 weeks of payment I had my aligners! I’ve been wearing them at night and use my hyperbyte for 20 minutes a day. I’m definitely noticing a difference. Customer service has been amazing.
0Kimberly P.Howell3 months agoAge: 40 - 49Byte has been fantastic, regularly checking in and providing updates and advice along the way. Because of my rather complicated crowding,
I went back and redid a few weeks and have only used night slingers so my progress is a little slower but steady and noticeable.
I love the hyperbyte to make things progress more smoothly and more comfortably and the whitener helps as well!0Megan G.Omaha1 month agoAge: 40 - 49Close for convenience as they had a plan that was just overnight. My advice would be go to local professionals and save yourself money and hassle. Aligners don’t fit right and has been such a headache dealing with their team to find a proper fit and treatment for successful results.
0Nicole D.Charlotte NC4 months agoAge: 40 - 49They fit great. It worked perfectly. Never had to file down. If damaged they replaced for free. Good price
0Rachel L.Hampton, GA6 months agoAge: 40 - 49Had braces years ago, didnt wear my retainer. Developed crowding on the bottom and a turned tooth on top overlapping the other. Chose byte because of the cost and reviews. Still in progress but have seen a huge difference.
0Salma B.Santa Ana, CA6 months agoAge: 40 - 49I decided to go for the clear aliners due to the fact that I hated my teeth and being 43 years old I didn’t want braces. I decided to try them after my oldest son had great results with them. The process to set up was very easy they sent me the kids it was very easy to use. The customer service has been great every time I’ve had a question they are very responsive. I have been wearing my liners for about 6 months now and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my smile spell my smile especially in my front teeth which were very crowded. My treatment is taking a little longer than originally planned but that’s my own fault because I’m not always a 100% with wearing them. I am very happy with the results so far.
0Sarah G.St Louis, MO5 months agoAge: 40 - 49I had always wished I had braces as a kid, but my dentist didn’t think they were necessary. I had always been embarrassed of a crooked front tooth. Byte worked with my insurance and I paid what they didn’t cover. It was affordable compared to braces. My teeth didn’t move according to plan, so I am in my refinements. I have had zero issues with getting what I need and my teeth are almost perfect at this point. I do have a few of the black triangles on the bottom, but this is expected with the level of crowding. I 100% recommend trying aligners!
0Scarlett H.SF3 months agoAge: 40 - 49I chose Byte because of their fantastic customer service. I was originally told my aligners would be on for 13 weeks, but I’m over 18 months into the process, and finally at the point where I’m going to finish up. Are my teeth more straight? Yes! Could they be straighter? Yes! Does Byte always have me talk to a live person – who always tells me my options (continue or ask for retainers/finish treatment)? Yes! Would I choose Byte again? Probably. The nighttime treatment would make my life easier. I have to be home to brush and floss right after I eat. My teeth are straighter, even if it has taken over a year longer than I was told it would and my bottom teeth still aren’t exactly straight. I was told over halfway through my treatment to wear the aligners for 2 weeks (not the 1 they told me originally) AND to use the hyper-byte technology (which usually doesn’t turn on anyway) for 20 mins per day (not the 5 mins they told me originally). I wish they would have told me that at the onset. Maybe I wouldn’t still be in aligners.
0Shannon H.Canton2 months agoAge: 40 - 49I decided to get Byte because I wanted to improve my smile. I noticed that as the years have passed my incisors were sticking out more than I wanted them to. I was/am supported by Byte support for this journey. Every time I have a request they respond immediately!! I am positively surprised by the support they have given me since I am unable to go to a dental office for their services. This company should be chosen if you are looking for improvement of your smile but not willing to spend tons of money. It was one of the cheaper aligners, and they rank number 2!
0Taylor G.Farmersville, TX3 months agoAge: 40 - 49I chose Byte because it was the most affordable. The whole process was so easy and customer service is quick to get back to you with any answers to questions. Im enjoying my new smile and would definitely recommend Byte!
0Tessa O.Ionia4 months agoAge: 40 - 49The treatment was easy, efficient, and cost effective compared to regular braces. Plus zero office visits!
