The majority of Byte customers are happy with their experience, but we are firm believers you should never overlook the negative reviews. And Byte customers do have some complaints.
The most consistent are related to customer support. We’ve spotted a lot of reviews noting long response times, lack of communication, and taking months to resolve pretty simple issues. Other customers have complained that treatment takes longer than they were initially promised.
The best purchase is an informed one, so check out the authentic customer reviews below and see where Byte treatment sometimes goes wrong.
Smile Prep offers readers a small financial incentive in exchange for their unbiased reviews. We require proof of purchase before accepting reviews, and all reviewers must have completed at least three months of aligner treatment. I chose Byte as it seemed like an affordable option that would help my issue within a reasonable about of time. My treatment was only supposed to take roughly four months and although I was skeptical I understood adjustments would need to be made according to what I needed. I did not expect to still be wearing aligners over a year and a half later. The issue with Byte is that every time you talk to someone in customer service, whether via email or phone, it is someone new who does not have any prior knowledge of your treatment. I repeatedly had to ask every person to read prior notes/history so I would not have to continue to repeat myself every time I got on the phone. Overall, I have had to have 35 sets of aligners after an initially prescribed 17, this seems like a severe miscalculation. As I said, I understand that adjustments need to be made throughout the process, but the lack of customized support really made this an unbearable process. I would not recommend this company to anybody planning to go through similar treatment, the only reason I gave three stars was because I am happy with the end result.
Helpful?Madeline M.West Boylston, MA2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteSo for a long time I wanted to straighten out my crowding issue. I decided to try clear aligners since they aren’t very noticeable. I chose Byte because they had great reviews and the price was reasonable. The hyperbyte device was also a huge selling point since the claim is that it speeds up the alignment time.
Sadly, these aligners were not as comfortable as they say they are, even after filing the edges down. My mouth was all cut inside and was sore from the cuts. I contacted them and they said they were sorry for the discomfort but that my mouth would get used to it. I tried for a week and just couldn’t do it. I decided I could only wear these at night. They said that’s fine but that I should double my hyperbyte time and double the time of wearing each aligner which was fine. So I did that.
At the end of my time, even after wearing that last aligner for a couple months, the retainer they sent me was no where near fitting me. I asked them for a new one and they said I’d have to do the aligners ALL OVER AGAIN! I was not happy about that so I just used the last aligner as a retainer. Then eventually just stopped using it. My teeth are very slightly straighter. Not by much at all. The crowding issue is the same for too and bottom. Overbite is also the same.
The customer service is super kind BUT sadly they can only do what the company is capable of. I personally wouldn’t suggest them.
Helpful?Juliette SherrillSurprise, AZ2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteCrossbiteI want to start by saying if you’re not motivated and consistent, this will not work. My treatment was going great for a while and then I kept forgetting to put the aligners in and one tooth was stubborn and would not move so I lost motivation. I eventually started back up again but basically from week 1. If you’re consisted and motivated, this is a great way to straighten your teeth without braces, but stay consistent or it will not work! I would recommend because it is cheaper than braces and easier if you don’t want to deal with having braces and bands and wires in your mouth, and it’s all from home so there are no dentist visits
Helpful?Alli B.Arkansas2 years agoCrowdingSnaggletoothI chose to do at-home aligners because the problems I wanted fixed weren’t major and being in college had made my wallet pretty thin. So, after doing some serious research I chose Byte. I decided to use this company for 2 reasons. Their pricing was one of the best on the market and their customer reviews were outstanding. Now, the reason I gave them 3 stars out of 5 is because at the end of my treatment plan I was nowhere near the point they had predicted.
After contacting them and alerting my team of my concerns they helped me to setup another round of aligners to hopefully create our desired results. So, my original 15 weeks turned into another 15 weeks after 3 months of waiting for my second set to arrive. And if they had worked this wouldn’t have been a big deal, but after all that the aligners caused one of my teeth to become more crooked than it was before.. I wouldn’t not recommend them because they do seem to have an amazing team and customer support, but it was kind of a waste for me personally because now I’m going to have to get traditional braces anyway.
Helpful?Melissa O.Cleveland, Ohio2 years agoCrowdingSnaggletoothOverbiteCrossbiteOpen BiteI realized that the crowding of my teeth was getting worse over time, and I didn’t like the appearance of my smile due to my cross bite. The company was incredibly responsive before I paid (I paid in full in one lump sum) but after that I never spoke to anyone directly or heard from them aside from boilerplate emails. I never spoke to a professional about the projected final result. I was so excited that I didn’t really think about it much, and went ahead with the treatment. I am moderately pleased with the straightening of my bottom teeth, but overall disappointed in the result. The rotation on my canine hasn’t changed, and my open bite is as bad as it ever was. If I had had the opportunity to speak with someone, and understand that Byte couldn’t fix my bite at all, I wouldn’t have bothered. My dentist has sent me to an orthodontist to have my bite corrected, so basically this was a waste of time and money.
Helpful?Ashley LaneHouston, TX2 years agoCrowdingSpacingTooth GapOverbiteHmmmm. Where do I start. The best way to explain Bytes process is DIY. Do it yourself teeth straightening. You are basically in control of your own orthodontic care. Bad stuff first. False timeline. I expected to get done with treatment in 15 weeks as prescribed by BYTE. I expected to wear each aligner for 7 days and switch to the next aligner right after. I expected to have phone calls answered and emails responded to within 24 hours. I expected for the treatment to work on the first set of aligners. None of the aforementioned happened. I am now on a 2nd set of aligners. It has been 9 months. I have to wear the aligners for 2 weeks each. The customer service is very SLOW. I chose Byte at night because I dont want to wear them all the day. I wear them for 10hrs at night and take them out. Have I seen progress with my teeth? Yes. Do they look better? Yes. But goodness! Its such a slowwwwww process. I am glad that I dont have to visit the dentist constantly. I am not happy that BYTE withheld important info like time frame. YOu are required to send in pictures constantly. I hope that the treatment works with the current refinement aligners I am in right now.
Helpful?Rachel L.Mercer, PA2 years agoCrowdingThe process of enrolling with Byte is pretty easy & seamless. Initially, the customer service & support is extremely helpful & there to address every question each step of the way. Moving along through treatment, you feel like less of a priority. It becomes difficult to get in touch with customer service(at least someone actually qualified to help) and you often, if not always, wait 5-7 days to receive any feedback on your questions concerning treatment. I had little results with my first set of aligners and will say Byte stood behind its guarantee to redefine my treatment plan and send me another set of aligners; however, that didn’t give me the results I wanted in the timeframe I desired. I probably would have been better off in an orthodontist’s office where they would periodically monitor and tweak my plan, rather than waiting till the end for adjustments. That said, I’m slowly noticing results. If you want a “hands off” treatment experience, this is it!
Helpful?Karen R.San Francisco, CA2 years agoCrowdingSpacingI chose Byte because of their fantastic customer service. I was originally told my aligners would be on for 13 weeks, but I’m over 18 months into the process, and finally at the point where I’m going to finish up. Are my teeth more straight? Yes! Could they be straighter? Yes! Does Byte always have me talk to a live person – who always tells me my options (continue or ask for retainers/finish treatment)? Yes! Would I choose Byte again? Probably. The nighttime treatment would make my life easier. I have to be home to brush and floss right after I eat. My teeth are straighter, even if it has taken over a year longer than I was told it would and my bottom teeth still aren’t exactly straight. I was told over halfway through my treatment to wear the aligners for 2 weeks (not the 1 they told me originally) AND to use the hyper-byte technology (which usually doesn’t turn on anyway) for 20 mins per day (not the 5 mins they told me originally). I wish they would have told me that at the onset. Maybe I wouldn’t still be in aligners.
Helpful?Kenneth StrickerAndover1 year agoCrowdingOverall I’m satisfied with Byte, but there are certainly some things people need to know to temper their expectations. I’ve been in the treatment plan for around 2 years now. I got the Byte at night system that says you only have to wear them at night (10 hrs min per day). I’ve had to get about 3 new sets of aligners as I finished my treatment plan and still had misaligned teeth. There is certainly a ton of progress but it has been a slow process. I would recommend getting the normal aligners instead of the at night system. They are cheaper and I’ve found that I need to wear the aligners most of the day anyways to get good progress. Customer service from Byte was great at the beginning but its not amazing anymore. They are slow to respond now, I think partly due to how quickly the company has grown. Again, overall I’m satisfied, but still not 100% complete after about 2 years.
Helpful?Kelly B.Phoenix, AZ2 years agoCrowdingIf I could do it again, I wouldn’t choose this route. My treatment was supposed to take 5 months, but took much longer due to needing refinements. I had to redo impressions 2 or 3 times and wait for weeks for new aligners to arrive each time. This meant it ended up taking around 10 months. They only provide one bottle of foam cleaner and when you need more, it is $30 a bottle, which I think is a bit steep. Otherwise, it was pretty cost effective and the result was satisfactory. However, I think it would’ve been worth the extra money to get Invisalign with an orthodontist.
Helpful?Nick B.New York, NY1 year agoCrowdingSpacingI decided to buy aligners because I had never had any dental work done, but I had noticeable crowding among my bottom front teeth that made me self-conscious about my smile. This was also early in the COVID-19 pandemic, so I wasn’t really going anywhere, and I figured it would be easy to keep the aligners on for extended periods of time. I chose Byte because it had good enough reviews and was the cheapest among the options I researched.
Overall, I’m pleased with Byte. As you can see in my progress photo, my treatment is not done yet, despite being predicted to end by mid-2021. My bottom teeth have been exceptionally stubborn, and I am on my third set of adjustment aligners, where I’ve had to be sent more impression kits to craft all new trays to extend my treatment. This has been a pain, but it has all been covered by the Byte guarantee/warrantee, and I’ve done enough research to conclude that this likely isn’t Byte’s fault—there is a danger in trying to move my teeth too quickly. They’ve been fairly responsive to emails, and shipping is generally quite fast. All of this said, I’ve been very happy with the progress I have seen so far, especially as I look back at my before photos.
Helpful?Michelle T.Charleston, WV1 year agoCrowdingOverbiteByte was fairly easy to get started with. I took the impressions and sent them back, about a month later I received my aligners. I wasn’t impressed with Byte’s communication after I received my aligners. When I got to the last aligner in the box, I realized that they had only shipped about half of the aligners, so I contacted them and they sent the remaining aligners. They were a bit painful at first, but I got used to them after a few days. My teeth moved some at first, but now my bottom teeth seem stuck. They won’t move anymore. THey are crowded, which I assume is the reason they won’t move more, but Byte should have known this would happen.
Helpful?Amy MarcotteSuffolk2 years agoCrowdingCrossbiteI chose Byte to fix my overcrowding based on that it seemed at the time their customer service was the best. However that turned out to not be true, it was very difficult to get a strait answer from them, after writing an email I would have to wait and hope for a reply. I was pretty happy with my results and thought I was on track and doing well with my treatment. So when I checked in to get the rest of my alignments after week 15 they told me I in fact wasn’t on track and to go Back a few weeks on my aligners. After going back and forth with them they eventually told me out of the blue that I would need to get a refund from them and go see an actual orthodontist instead. My teeth are a bit straighter but teeth shift and they only allowed me to do half of my treatment. So all in all it was a bit disappointing and their customer service is seriously lacking.
Helpful?Gabrielle R.Garfield, MN2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteI was looking into options for straightening my teeth and byte seemed to have the best reviews and shortest treatment time. While I am mostly happy with how my teeth are straightening, my initial treatment plan was predicted at 26 weeks, and I am now going on 55+ weeks of wear. Customer service is absolutely horrible and takes weeks to get back to you after the sale. They don’t assign care managers or anything and just take turns answering emails so even in conversations about the same question or problem, you’d have to re-explain what you want or need. Hindsight, I’d spend the extra money and go to a dentist for treatment.
Helpful?Angela W.Abingdon, MD2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteMidlineI chose Byte due to the ability to do everything through mail order. As of now, no issues with crowding have not been completely corrected. The aligners were not fitting correctly after the 10th week. I had a video consultation in order to determine next steps. Refinement aligners have been ordered to continue treatment.
According to my dentist, he feels that other measures will need to be taken in order for this to be successful. For example, slenderizing of the teeth in order to create space for movement.Helpful?Amirah A.Boston, Massachusetts1 year agoCrowdingI decided to go with Byte after researching all the other at-home clear aligners. Since my crowding issue was minor, I was hoping to save by doing Byte instead of Invisalign, which was twice the cost.
The beginning of my treatment went well. About 2 months in, I was having tracking issues (teeth were not moving as expected). I reached out to Byte and after 2 weeks of back and forth emails, I was told to start over. I was somewhat disappointed in how long communication took. I would sometimes wait 3 days for a ‘generic’ email response, telling me to contact another department.
I restarted treatment, and 2 months later still had tracking issues. After another 2 weeks of back and forth emails, Byte finally sent me refinements (another set of aligners after another impression kit submission). The whole process took over a month.
In my refinements, I had a strange issue after 2 months. My next set of aligners didn’t fit at all. It was almost physically impossible to put in. I emailed Byte again, and was told to shove them in and leave it overnight, despite the pain and discomfort. Another Byte representative had told me earlier that aligners should click into place, and not cause significant pain. I was convinced something went wrong during manufacturing the aligners, because unlike all my other ones, this next set DID NOT FIT AT ALL.
I tried following all their instructions, it left me with intense pain and discomfort, bleeding gums, and eventually chipped and broke one of my teeth. No matter how much I contacted Byte, they didn’t seem to want to send me a new impression kit for another set of aligners. I kept getting responses from different Byte representatives, each giving me conflicting advise (and taking several days in the process). I was somewhat traumatized by the experience, and ended treatment after that. I had my dentist fix my tooth and have been wary of going back to clear aligners.
TL;DR – fork over the extra money for Invisalign, or another company where you will have regular dentist supervision. Even if your dental issues are small, at home treatment can go very wrong.
Helpful?Crystal AlbrechtTIfton, Ga2 years agoCrowdingSnaggletoothOverbiteI have always wanted to fix my teeth and found Byte on Facebook. They had good reviews and seemed to have a reasonable price. I initially received 15 aligners for both top and bottom. They were to be worn a week at a time and use the byte tool 5 min a day. Close to the end I contacted Byte as I did not see significant progress. They instructed me to go back a few weeks and wear them longer and use the tool for 20 min a day. I was also told I had 3 additional aligners for the bottom and 5 for too they were sending out. Towards the end of the expanded set I once again contacted Byte disappointed with my progress. I was instructed again to go back a few weeks. I continued for a few months and finally gave up. It always took more than a week for each response from Byte which led to several weeks as they always requested more photos in each email. I am disappointed and do not see a difference. I feel I wasted the money and will still need braces to correct my issue.
Helpful?Taylor H.Tucson, AZ2 years agoCrowdingI purchased the byte aligners because of cost and they offered free retainers for life. I thought I his was great since I would need them. I explained to them what my in person dentist told me and explained my goals for my teeth so I could be confident. They assured me that the aligners would work for my smile as nothing was extremes. Just a little crowding on the bottom front and unevenness on the top. They also said that based on my insurance I would only have to pay half.
In the end they gave me the insurance paper claim really late with the wrong date so my insurance denied the claim so I had to pay in full. Also after a year and a half of treatment my lower teeth were slightly better but my upper teeth only seemed worse based on the aligners. I had nonstop problems with their aligners not aligning with my teeth properly. One time they even sent the wrong aligners. After countless attempts to try to resolve the problem with their aligners not being made right for my teeth I asked them politely to either truly fix the problem, tell me the truth that they cannot help me and/or give me my money back! ($1800). They did not respond to any of my requests and only asked for my dentist to send them a letter about my recent cleaning and filings done in the back of my mouth that is NOT affected by the aligners. I was so upset I cut my losses and walked away before they screwed up my teeth. Last thing I will mention is that during my year and a half treatment, I always had to be the one to reach out to them regarding concerns. Then never asked how my treatment was going or if I had concerns. They just wanted my money. Would NEVER recommend them.
Helpful?Scarlett H.Arlington, VA2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteHaving used Invisalign with a traditional orthodontist for 5-6 years, there was still room for improvement. And since I didn’t have aligners, my teeth have moved quite a bit and so I was looking to get my teeth done again. I love that we never had to visit the orthodontist and everything is mailed, and we can log in whenever to the portal to view the treatment plan journey. However, the site wasn’t the most user friendly and there wasn’t much to it other than looking at how your teeth could shift after each set of aligners. I think this is great for someone who has had prior orthodontist/braces experience and is looking for some minor improvement but for more complicated cases that involve major transformation, I think going to a traditional orthodontist is necessary as it might require removing teeth to create space for movement. Absent that, it only allows for very small teeth movements. And it doesn’t correct over/under bite.
Helpful?Ashley L.Columbus, OH2 years agoSnaggletoothI would recommend Byte for minor issues. I do not think that they set accurate goals for the completion of treatment. They could also communicate better in the beginning in regards to when to switch aligners (it’s likely not weekly).
If you go into this knowing your treatment will be far longer than projected and that you will need a few refinement sets, I would day go for it.
If you dislike wait times, want immediate answers and check ins with an orthodontist, go the traditional route.
Helpful?Beth P.New Hope, Al2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteOpen BiteMidlineByte is definitely the best bang for the buck, the support is somewhat helpful, the price is affordable and it seems to be easy enough. I purchased my impression kit around early April, and purchased my treatment a few weeks after completing the impressions and return mailing them.
The impression silicon tastes awful and I gagged the whole time I waited for it to set up, the instructions were very easy to follow and the waiting was the hardest part. The impression kit came with a return envelope system, and I returned it through USPS with no hassle! I got an email around two weeks later, saying that they received my impressions and would work on the treatment plan soon.
The treatment plan took about two weeks as well, which is a slow turnaround. I had trouble with support after my purchase, emails not returned and calls would be bounced around the support center.
I received my aligners four weeks later. That is ridiculous. I was very unhappy with the time it took, my questions would be met with “it should be coming” and many would be unanswered.
The aligner box included the Hyperbyte, Britebyte and the aligners for the first 15 weeks and their case. It was all packaged nicely, easy to follow instructions and the Hyperbyte came with a cable. The aligners are reminiscent of cheap reusable waterbottles, it has the same texture and the printing and molding can be seen on the aligners themselves causing weird spots when wearing – they’re not exactly discreet.
If you’re not focused hard on a constant support team, or care to have checkups, it’s a good value.
Helpful?Kelly M.Milford1 year agoCrowdingSnaggletoothChose Byte to fix my overcrowding because of the HyperByte. I believed it would speed up treatment as advertised, allowing me to switch aligners every week instead of every two. I could tell immediately that wasn’t going to work and started wearing them 10 days. Still, by week 6 of 18, I realized I wasn’t tracking properly. It took six weeks to go through emailing, sending pictures, getting a new kit, sending it back, and waiting for new aligners to be created. After that, I bought “chewies” (often used by other clear aligner companies, but not Byte, at least at the time), wore the aligners longer, and finally started making progress. Unfortunately, part way through the journey, I encountered sets of aligners with air bubbles in them, bubbles big enough to be felt on my teeth. So, enter another delay of emailing and production and waiting for new aligners. This was not rushed, despite being 100% Byte’s error. When I finally finished, already months behind the date originally told to me, my teeth still weren’t straight (although the aligners fit fine), so I entered refinements. Which meant emailing. And pictures, and reviews, and more production before getting more aligners. When that period was over, there was still a bottom tooth not fully inline, but very close. As I was at 64 weeks of a process that was sold to me as 18 weeks, I was ready to be done. I asked for my retainers. This, unfortunately, was not the end of my journey with Byte. A little more than a month of wear, my retainer cracked straight over the front tooth–one of the teeth that experienced the most movement, and NOT even on the same row as the tooth that wasn’t fully inline. Frustrated with email response times, I reached out on social media, as others had sworn it was faster. The response team on social media still took time to respond, and then essentially emailed the correct people for me. And I was stuck waiting. The response was… not good. They told me I shouldn’t be wearing my retainers so much (counter to all traditional advice from practically every orthodontist) and that since I’d had their six-month retainer for “so long” I’d have to buy a full new set. I should also mention that I asked for research showing that only two weeks of retainer wear would be sufficient, as they claim, and that question was ignored.
But, my teeth are 98% straight, and a thousand times better than what they were. So I highly recommend clear aligners, just not necessarily with Byte.
Helpful?Joy P.South Orleans, MA1 year agoCrowdingOverbiteByte was such a good decision. The customer care representatives were very helpful in the process! I feel so comfortable with them that I could email them at anytime with any complications or problems and they would help me with in minutes. They were very considerate and understanding and patient with the process and the process itself is very easy I was able to receive my liners within a week of deciding that this was the right option for me I would just say to anybody who is wondering about Byte to make sure that they are 100% ready for this commitment and ready to have a routine. The byte aligners can be quite painful at the beginning but they make an absolute difference!
Helpful?Shannon H.Eau Claire, WI2 years agoCrowdingOverbiteI impulsively decided to purchase the aligners after seeing a TikTok ad for them, and since I had a discount code, figured why not. I chose Byte because it was the cheapest option, but they aren’t as good as they claim to be. In hindsight, I wish I had went with a different company because my treatment took more than twice as long as it was supposed to and my teeth never moved all the way into correct position. To add more to my issues, the customer service is painfully slow at getting back to you. For a treatment claiming to be fast, it’s not going to be fast when the company takes up to a whole week to respond to your request for help. If you’re considering Byte, see if your insurance will cover it (mine didn’t). If not, don’t waste your money on them.
Helpful?Bryn P.North East, MD2 years agoSpacingOverbiteOpen BiteI have never had any dental work other than cleanings so I wanted to pull my teeth in as they protruded forward. I researched several companies and Byte seemed best. I was suppose to have 6 months of treatment but my test are still not to my satisfaction. I definitely see improvement but not what they showed would have happened. Customer service is ok. They do respond but it takes a few days and they constantly asked for new photos. I believe byte is a good company but couldn’t quite fulfill my expectations.
Helpful?Brittany W.United States2 years agoCrowdingSpacingAfter failing to wear my retainer as a teenager, I decided to purchase clear aligners for another chance at having straight teeth. Overall, my teeth weren’t really that bad, but the crowding in the bottom made flossing and cleanings at the dentist painful. I chose this company after hours of research because of the amount of positive experiences I read about and the byte for life guarantee. The company did not meet my expectations. Once receiving my aligners, I haven’t really been contacted at all to check on my progress and wasn’t given any instructions on “checking in” with Byte. The company could do a better job of providing patients with what to do after receving aligners. I believe it also very unrealistic that most patients can switch aligners each week. I’ve had to wear some aligners 3+ weeks. Customer support isn’t the greatest.
I’m almost 2 years into treatment that was supposed to be a 12 week plan. I’ve had to do “refinements” twice. Refinements are when you have to send in a new impression and they make you more/different aligners. The impression kit was fairly easy to understand, getting great impressions the first time was impossible for me and quite the struggle the second time. I believe my first set of aligners were made with “bad” impressions.
My advice for anyone considering aligners is go to your local dentist/orthodontist and opt for Invisalign. I know it can be more expensive, especially if you need extensive adjusting, but at least that way you know you’re getting aligners made from a good impression, don’t have to worry about damaging your teeth/gums, and a professional to regularly oversee treatment.
Helpful?Madeline M.Massachusetts2 years agoCrowdingSo I decided to get aligners in the first place because I have a crowding issue. I did some research with reviews and price and found that Byte would be a good option. Sadly, I was disappointed with the results. My teeth weren’t that straight after. It seemed to only shift them a little bit. I wanted to make my teeth look more straight and less crowded looking. I don’t think it really helped too much. I notice a very small difference which is not worth it for the cost.
My retainer also didn’t even fit my teeth. So I asked them to help in remaking it and they said I’d have to do a whole new set of aligners! I definitely didn’t want to do that. When switching aligners I always got a headache. I did voice my concerns with the customer service team and they were very nice and tried to help but the only help they could provide was a whole new aligners set. I was over it so I just let it be.
My advice… this is not a great option for overcrowding issues. I’m upset I spent the money for barley any results. This still gets three stars because they were nice and responsive.
Helpful?Colby L.Boston, MA2 years agoCrowdingSnaggletoothThough I am not finished with treatment, I can definitely see progress in my teeth straightening out. I had one snagged tooth on top that is fixed, the lower teeth are crowded and taking more time to move. That being said, I think the lower teeth look better than when I started. My complaint about byte is that they should tell you upfront you really need to wear aligners for around 2 weeks, not one. That gives you an unrealistic timeline for treatment. They also told me to move backwards in my treatment because one tooth wasn’t fitting right in the aligners when I really just needed refinements or a second set. This has significantly delayed progress. However, these are cheaper and better looking than braces so I am satisfied so far and optimistic that I’ll have a straighter smile when all is said and done.
Helpful?Lisa M.Seguin, Texas2 years agoCrowdingByte was great until they decided that I voided my warranty by getting a emergency root canal. At that point, they ended my treatment. I would not work with this company again.
Helpful?Rachelle S.Decatur, GA2 years agoCrowdingSnaggletoothOverbiteCrossbiteI decided to go with aligners after being unhappy with my smile for most of my life. Overall, it was an okay experience. I had to go through multiple refinements (3 in total) and customer service could be very slow to respond and send me what I needed, which significantly increased treatment time. I went with Byte because it was cheaper than Invisalign but I wish I had invested in that instead. My smile still isn’t exactly right but I didn’t want to increase the treatment time. A 3 month treatment.
Took nearly a year due to refinements and delays.
