I absolutely love byte. I’ve been unhappy with my crooked teeth that had been getting more and more crooked as the years went by (even though I had worn braces as a teenage.) I decided to buy byte’s treatment and couldn’t have been happier with the results. The customer support have been great throughout treatment. I originally was supposed to be done in as little as 3 months, but because of my stubborn bottom teeth, I had to get a different set of aligners after the first 3 months. My upper teeth were starting to crowd and were presenting misalignment while my lower teeth were spacing out further and further away from each other and it was starting to get worse over 2 years because my wisdom teeth were pushing out in the back. The reason I chose Byte was because I made sure to do research on the different brands and Byte seemed to have the best prices, best customer reviews, and best customer service. It was my first time hearing about this type of aligner and my brother mentioned Invisalign.
After searching for Invisalign, I started getting ads for other brands and everything I was looking for was provided by Byte. The process to begin was very easy and Byte presented very good manuals inside the boxes they kept sending, and included in the aligner kit was the Hyperbyte and some teeth whitening products. The service was exceptional and I definitely recommended them. My upper teeth have been corrected and my lower teeth are currently on the process of being corrected.
The only reason I am giving a 4-star rating is because when I started off and paid for the first time, the service was amazing and quick! It was very efficient. But after a year, they seem to be responding after a week IF I SEND THE MESSAGE 3 MORE TIMES. Overall, it was a positive experience and it helped my teeth.

Hmmmm. Where do I start. The best way to explain Bytes process is DIY. Do it yourself teeth straightening. You are basically in control of your own orthodontic care. Bad stuff first. False timeline. I expected to get done with treatment in 15 weeks as prescribed by BYTE. I expected to wear each aligner for 7 days and switch to the next aligner right after. I expected to have phone calls answered and emails responded to within 24 hours. I expected for the treatment to work on the first set of aligners. None of the aforementioned happened. I am now on a 2nd set of aligners. It has been 9 months. I have to wear the aligners for 2 weeks each. The customer service is very SLOW. I chose Byte at night because I dont want to wear them all the day. I wear them for 10hrs at night and take them out. Have I seen progress with my teeth? Yes. Do they look better? Yes. But goodness! Its such a slowwwwww process. I am glad that I dont have to visit the dentist constantly. I am not happy that BYTE withheld important info like time frame. YOu are required to send in pictures constantly. I hope that the treatment works with the current refinement aligners I am in right now.

The process of enrolling with Byte is pretty easy & seamless. Initially, the customer service & support is extremely helpful & there to address every question each step of the way. Moving along through treatment, you feel like less of a priority. It becomes difficult to get in touch with customer service(at least someone actually qualified to help) and you often, if not always, wait 5-7 days to receive any feedback on your questions concerning treatment. I had little results with my first set of aligners and will say Byte stood behind its guarantee to redefine my treatment plan and send me another set of aligners; however, that didn’t give me the results I wanted in the timeframe I desired. I probably would have been better off in an orthodontist’s office where they would periodically monitor and tweak my plan, rather than waiting till the end for adjustments. That said, I’m slowly noticing results. If you want a “hands off” treatment experience, this is it!

I had braces when I was in high-school but only wore my retainer for the first few months. Since then my teeth have shifted quite a bit as I am 30 now and I’ve become unhappy with my smile. My 2 front teeth have started poking out and my bottom teeth are crowded again. I decided to get night time aligners through byte. I eat several times during the day and work 10 hour shifts with not enough time to brush and floss everytime I eat so daytime aligners weren’t ideal. With Byte I pop my aligners in when I get off work and keep them in overnight. They also have the hyperbyte which is a vibrating mouth guard you use for 10 minutes a night which speeds up the process and also helps with gum soreness from your aligners. Every time I needed something from the company they responded promptly. There were also a few things that had to be mailed like the impression kit (which you do at home, you don’t need to leave the house!), the first set of aligners, and then the last few aligners once they give you the okay on continuing your treatment. Those were all delivered quickly. Overall I’ve been very satisfied with these aligners and my dentist also asked me how I got my teeth so straight so quickly! I’d recommend to anyone who wants to straighten their teeth in a short amount of time.

I’ve been told basically since my adult teeth came in that I’d need braces. I’ve had a huge gap in my front teeth that I’ve always been super self conscious about, but never wanted to go through with actual metal braces (my brother did and I knew first hand how bad they could suck!) Also as I got older my lower teeth began overcrowding and one tooth was getting severely pushed in. After seeing all the new companies available that offered clear aligners I decided it was finally time to give em a try.
I went with byte because of the overall length of treatment time, cost involved for nighttime, and the user reviews. I spent a long time researching and still feel like I made the best choice.
The impressions were easy to do, just make a couple putty molds of top and bottom teeth, and they had my treatment plan up and running and ready to buy in under a week. My aligners arrived sooner than promised, too (I think around 2-3 weeks.) Their hyperbyte vibrate device was a LIFESAVER when it came to the initial discomfort. You can bank on those first couple days being full of pain! Their device is basically a vibrating mouth piece and I’d recommend buying it regardless of what company you’d use.
My initial treatment was to be 17 sets of upper and lower. Which seemed crazy low since I had a huge gap, but at the end of my 17 sets I easily could have called it finished and my teeth were at exactly what my plan showed. But, since I paid so much for my treatment and they offer a happiness guarantee I let them know there were still a few areas I wasn’t 100% happy with and they really worked with me to make sure I would be.
Initially they had me backtrack a few aligners to see if that helped. My issues were with one of my front teeth still being a little cockeyed (which I still don’t know will ever be fully straight but that’s just due to limitations of aligners period), my bottom teeth not being exactly perfect, and a slight gap in between my canines and incisors that I didn’t care for. Backtracking did help some, to their credit, but was not a fix so they sent me a new impression kit for free and then sent me refinement aligners. I think it took 3 weeks total to get all that done from my asking about refinements to having aligners, SUPER fast turn around considering the amount of new customers they have, and my communication with them was strictly email.
So now I’m in what they call refinements for another 17 sets but realistically if I stopped at any point between now (set 5 of refinements) and the end it was well worth my investment.
I can’t say enough good things about byte, honestly. I don’t know if I just got really great people on my case who replied quickly or what, but my experience has been nothing but positive and I expect it to end positively. The length of time based on my initial expectations doesn’t really matter in the end when my teeth are exactly how I wanted without the cost and pain of actual braces. My overbite/overjet is even vastly improved! I’m really happy and amazed with how my teeth look now.

I was never confident about my teeth. I always hated looking back at pictures because I hated how my teeth looked. Now, I love my teeth and have absolutely no problems taking pictures with my teeth showing. Customer service was always quite speedy and always helpful, I have never run into anyone rude or unhelpful. Someone on the Byte team would check up on me regularly to see how my treatment was going. I decided to start an aligner plan with Byte because I saw they had many positive reviews and the price wasn’t outrageous. I decided that I was tired of my crooked teeth and finally wanted them fixed. I never smiled because of how embarrassed I constantly was. I decided on byte because they offered a promotion to lower the price by $200. They somewhat meet my expectations on realigning my teeth but one of my tooth didn’t align perfectly with the rest at the end of the treatment. I tried to contact customer service by calling but they don’t pick up and I emailed them as well but they took too long to reply so I just settled for a permanent retainer. Their customer service is bad and slow and by the time they replied to me I have already put in order for my retainer. I also was under the impression that they also give me an LED snow teeth whitener and I emailed them about it but they never replied.
All I’m hoping for is that they fix their customer service because I paid for almost a $2k treatment and not have concerns addressed. But other than that I’m pretty much happy with my teeth turns out on pictures. My advice to you is that if you choose to pick this company have everything in writing about what is included in the plan. Make sure they specify if it includes the retainer cleanser and led snow whitener or not.

I was originally told my aligners would be on for 13 weeks, but I’m over 18 months into the process, and finally at the point where I’m going to finish up. Are my teeth more straight? Yes! Could they be straighter? Yes! Does Byte always have me talk to a live person – who always tells me my options (continue or ask for retainers/finish treatment)? Yes! Would I choose Byte again? Probably. The nighttime treatment would make my life easier. I have to be home to brush and floss right after I eat. My teeth are straighter, even if it has taken over a year longer than I was told it would and my bottom teeth still aren’t exactly straight. I was told over halfway through my treatment to wear the aligners for 2 weeks (not the 1 they told me originally) AND to use the hyper-byte technology (which usually doesn’t turn on anyway) for 20 mins per day (not the 5 mins they told me originally). I wish they would have told me that at the onset. Maybe I wouldn’t still be in aligners.

Love Byte aligners, I went from not wanting to show my smile to loving my smile. Before pictures where tough to find but I wanted to show what a change these aligners have made. There can be some wait time when doing the aligners if you have a long adjustment period – I had 26 weeks that was broken down into two sets. I’ve always been self conscious about my bottom teeth alignment mostly but needed slight straightening on my upper teeth. My upper teeth only took 5 sets and my bottom a total of 17 sets. Im currently on week 15. I’m extremely happy with the treatment and results thus far. I have had so many compliments on my teeth since treatment started. Overall I’m satisfied with Byte, but there are certainly some things people need to know to temper their expectations. I’ve been in the treatment plan for around 2 years now. I got the Byte at night system that says you only have to wear them at night (10 hrs min per day). I’ve had to get about 3 new sets of aligners as I finished my treatment plan and still had misaligned teeth. There is certainly a ton of progress but it has been a slow process. I would recommend getting the normal aligners instead of the at night system. They are cheaper and I’ve found that I need to wear the aligners most of the day anyways to get good progress. Customer service from Byte was great at the beginning but its not amazing anymore. They are slow to respond now, I think partly due to how quickly the company has grown. Again, overall I’m satisfied, but still not 100% complete after about 2 years.

Let me start by saying that my journey with Byte was supposed to originally be 9 weeks long (6 upper trays, 9 lower trays). I have previously had braces (jr/high school) and Invisalign (11 years ago). I only had minor movement that I wanted corrected to return my teeth to what they looked like post-Invisalign treatment (I didn’t get a new retainer quick enough after my dog ate them so my teeth shifted). I decided to go with Byte as a less expensive alternative to Invisalign, considering the movement I needed was minimal and this would be my third time with orthodontic appliances. All I really needed corrected was a slight overjet on my top 4 teeth, crowding with my right and left lateral incisor (they needed to be pulled forward to align with my front and canine teeth), and slight crowding on the bottom.
Impression Kit: This was surprisingly easy to do at home. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it well but I have now had to do it twice (for the original set of aligners and one set of refinements) and it was relatively easy. Make sure you do not waste time mixing the two materials because if you wait too long, it will start drying and your impression will not go deep enough.
I will stand firmly behind this product only being appropriate for those with minor issues because of the fact that it typically does not correct teeth to the level that braces or Invisalign will. They say they do not fix overbites, which would be a deal breaker for me if I needed this correction. Failing to correct all issues, yet trying to straighten teeth may be more harmful in the long run because it overall messes with your bite.
I am somewhat satisfied with my experience thus far but I still have a stubborn tooth that has not moved to my satisfaction. I am currently working via email with Byte’s support and have tried all of their recommendations and am now waiting to hear back about next steps. If you have more significant issues, I recommend going with a more traditional route to ensure your money goes towards truly fixing your teeth instead of band aid/patchwork. It is working for me (for the most part), but that’s after already investing in $10k of orthodontia over the past 15 years before finding Byte.

I had to redo impressions 2 or 3 times and wait for weeks for new aligners to arrive each time. This meant it ended up taking around 10 months. They only provide one bottle of foam cleaner and when you need more, it is $30 a bottle, which I think is a bit steep. Otherwise, it was pretty cost effective and the result was satisfactory. However, I think it would’ve been worth the extra money to get Invisalign with an orthodontist.

I compared it to other clear aligner companies and felt most comfortable choosing Byte. I was hoping to achieve a straighter smile and less crowding with Byte. I wasn’t in a rush to straighten my teeth and I already knew this route wasn’t going to be super quick. I’ve been using Byte for over a year now (I was originally told it would only be 16 weeks) and I’ve had to get refinements once. Overall, I am very happy with my experience. My smile has changed so much, and even though my teeth still aren’t 100% straight right now, I know they eventually will be. Byte has a guarantee that they will provide aligners until the customer is satisfied with their smile. This gives me enough confidence to keep moving forward with the process. Customer service is not the best at Byte, but all my questions have been answered, eventually.
My main concern is that nobody ever reaches out to check my progress, but I haven’t had any issues, so it’s not that huge of a deal to me. The whole process with Byte’s impression kit went really smooth. I’ve used 2 impression kits, one for my initial set, and one for my refinements. They were easy to complete and didn’t take much time. Other than the iffy customer support, I would say this company is really great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of lack of customer service. I decided to buy aligners because I had never had any dental work done, but I had noticeable crowding among my bottom front teeth that made me self-conscious about my smile. This was also early in the COVID-19 pandemic, so I wasn’t really going anywhere, and I figured it would be easy to keep the aligners on for extended periods of time. I chose Byte because it had good enough reviews and was the cheapest among the options I researched.
Overall, I’m pleased with Byte. As you can see in my progress photo, my treatment is not done yet, despite being predicted to end by mid-2021. My bottom teeth have been exceptionally stubborn, and I am on my third set of adjustment aligners, where I’ve had to be sent more impression kits to craft all new trays to extend my treatment. This has been a pain, but it has all been covered by the Byte guarantee/warrantee, and I’ve done enough research to conclude that this likely isn’t Byte’s fault—there is a danger in trying to move my teeth too quickly. They’ve been fairly responsive to emails, and shipping is generally quite fast. All of this said, I’ve been very happy with the progress I have seen so far, especially as I look back at my before photos.

I chose to go with clean aligners because I talk all day long and didn’t want them to be seen. I was also under the impression that treatment is quicker. I chose Byte because of the ability to use their payment plan which included a longer term product guarantee and the HyperByte was included in the cost. When I started the process, just prior to the pandemic, the customer service response was incredible. As they have grown, it has taken a bit longer to receive a reply, but the replies are genuine and not another “form” email.
I have a Class III underbite that I have always wanted to correct but my parents were against it as a child. As an adult, I had become very self conscious about it. As the treatment has progressed, I am super happy with the results.
I did undergo a revision as I was not 100% happy after the first 12 weeks, knowing that there was still a ways to go. The impressions are super easy to do so the second time around I was much more confident in doing them myself and returning via mail to the company.
Be prepared for sore spots, dry lips, etc that come with regular braces, and know they are painful but it does get better.
You do also have the option to setup a virtual appointment to speak with someone when you have questions. It was so helpful and just wish I had made one sooner in my treatment

Byte was fairly easy to get started with. I took the impressions and sent them back, about a month later I received my aligners. I wasn’t impressed with Byte’s communication after I received my aligners. When I got to the last aligner in the box, I realized that they had only shipped about half of the aligners, so I contacted them and they sent the remaining aligners. They were a bit painful at first, but I got used to them after a few days. My teeth moved some at first, but now my bottom teeth seem stuck. They won’t move anymore. THey are crowded, which I assume is the reason they won’t move more, but Byte should have known this would happen.

I chose Byte to fix my overcrowding based on that it seemed at the time their customer service was the best. However that turned out to not be true, it was very difficult to get a strait answer from them, after writing an email I would have to wait and hope for a reply. I was pretty happy with my results and thought I was on track and doing well with my treatment. So when I checked in to get the rest of my alignments after week 15 they told me I in fact wasn’t on track and to go Back a few weeks on my aligners. After going back and forth with them they eventually told me out of the blue that I would need to get a refund from them and go see an actual orthodontist instead. My teeth are a bit straighter but teeth shift and they only allowed me to do half of my treatment. So all in all it was a bit disappointing and their customer service is seriously lacking.

I was looking into options for straightening my teeth and byte seemed to have the best reviews and shortest treatment time. While I am mostly happy with how my teeth are straightening, my initial treatment plan was predicted at 26 weeks, and I am now going on 55+ weeks of wear. Customer service is absolutely horrible and takes weeks to get back to you after the sale. They don’t assign care managers or anything and just take turns answering emails so even in conversations about the same question or problem, you’d have to re-explain what you want or need. Hindsight, I’d spend the extra money and go to a dentist for treatment.

I chose Byte due to the ability to do everything through mail order. As of now, no issues with crowding have not been completely corrected. The aligners were not fitting correctly after the 10th week. I had a video consultation in order to determine next steps. Refinement aligners have been ordered to continue treatment.

I started clear aligners because I had some movement in my teeth after pregnancy. I had braces in high school and stopped wearing my retainers a year or so after completing treatment.
